M2A Media to support homeless charity St Mungo’s in 2022
London, 31 May 2022: M2A Media, leading innovators in live cloud-based video solutions, is delighted to announce that it will be working with homelessness charity, St Mungo’s, in the capacity of Corporate Supporter over the course of 2022.
As part of the company’s corporate social responsibility drive, which has seen M2A Media support charities including The Brain Tumour Charity, Euston Foodbank and Technovation, M2A Media employees recently chose St Mungo’s as its named charity for 2022, following a company-wide vote.
M2A’s Chief Commercial Officer, Matt Hughes, said: “With our headquarters based in Central London, M2A is very aware of the invaluable work that St Mungo’s carries out to end homelessness and rebuild lives. We are looking forward to focusing on initiatives that will help assist and raise awareness of the inspiring work the charity carries out.”
St Mungo’s is a charity working to prevent homelessness with national influence. It has supported more than 31,600 people who were homeless, or at risk of homelessness last year, through 207 services, and supports more than 3,200 people every night. The charity believes rough sleeping can be ended in this country, and that policies and interventions can be put in place to end homelessness for good.
Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, St Mungo’s helped 31,620 people across all services, including outreach and emergency accommodation. They played a key role in delivering the government’s ‘Everyone In’ scheme throughout the pandemic, which supported more than 4,000 people who were offered emergency accommodation through the initiative.
M2A Media will support St Mungo’s throughout 2022, with initiatives such as their dog walking challenge, ‘Take the Lead’, and themed social events to appeal to the broadcast technology community. M2A Media employees will also be given the opportunity to dedicate company time to volunteer for the charity. Further details of fundraising events will be announced in due course.
