Photron, Japan, partners with M2A Media to Deliver Scalable Live Video Workflows for Major Sports Rights Owner

London, UK – March 20, 2025 – M2A Media has partnered with Photron, Japan’s leading systems integrator, to enhance live video distribution workflows for sports rights owners and major broadcasters in Japan. The partnership with Photron marks a significant step in the expansion of M2A Media business in the Japanese market.

The collaboration sees M2A Media providing a fully integrated cloud solution that enables Photron to manage multiple live video workflows concurrently within the M2A console, while maintaining control over customer relationships and operations. The deployment includes six key workflows, handling a substantial volume of live content and significantly improves operational efficiency for Photron.

The M2A Media solution powers critical workflows such as SRT distribution to broadcasters for seamless video delivery, HLS encoding and handoff to a clipping partner for content repurposing, automated YouTube distribution including dynamic channel activation, RTP transformation and integration with data services, MP4 transformation for compliance, reducing processing time from three hours to under 20 minutes, and Transport Stream archive.

With a strong emphasis on local language support and ongoing operational training, M2A Media ensures that Photron and its customers benefit from a solution that is both technically advanced and operationally seamless. The M2A Media Console is  available in Japanese language. Through a dedicated team, M2A Media has provided extensive testing, daily communication, and 24/7 support which has guaranteed a successful deployment.
