M2A Media Teams Up with Field Day to Grow its Corporate Social Responsibility Program in Portland, Oregon
London, 16 November 2023: M2A Media, leading innovators in live cloud-based video solutions, is delighted to announce that it will be working with the community engagement platform Field Day as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
CSR has been a key part of M2A Media’s culture since the company was founded in 2016. To date this has been mainly UK-focussed, with M2A supporting charities such as The Brain Tumour Charity, St. Mungo’s Homeless Charity, Euston Foodbank and more.
Earlier this year, M2A Media chose the state of Oregon as the home for its North American base, establishing a Media Control Room (MCR) and expert Operations team in Portland. A natural progression was to expand the company’s CSR efforts to the US.
M2A’s Chief Commercial Officer, Matt Hughes, said: “With our new office opening in Portland earlier this year, M2A was keen to engage with and support the local community and Field Day provides the perfect platform to maximize the impact we can have. M2A’s CSR drive has always been at the core of the company’s values, and it is vital to us that this is maintained as we continue to grow and expand into different regions. Field Day opens up plenty of opportunities for M2A to get involved, and we’re looking forward to helping out in as many areas as we can”.
Field Day is a platform that powers community engagement initiatives that bring employees together with nonprofits in their local communities, measurably impacting culture. The platform streamlines key elements of robust and scalable volunteer programs: discovery and planning, event coordination, tracking and reporting, and story-sharing – all while centering the nonprofit’s experience of working with companies.
“Field Day enables companies to launch and grow programs that strengthen culture by empowering employees to get involved with local nonprofits. For a company that is entering or growing their presence in a region, building these programs presents unique, time-intensive challenges that are solved by using Field Day,” said Eli Blackman, CEO of Field Day. “M2A’s leadership and investment in this area will pay off significantly both now and in the future, as they attract and retain high level, purpose-driven talent.”
