M2A Media’s sponsored run raises £3,336 for The Brain Tumour Charity
M2A Media were in Just Giving’s top 1% for March 2019
London, 30 April 2019: Following its first fundraising initiative in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity, M2A Media is delighted to announce that, thanks to generous donations from friends and associates, its participation in The London Landmarks Half Marathon raised £3,336 for the charity.
Seven of M2A Media’s employees, including CEO Marina Kalkanis, committed their time and energy to train for the London Landmark’s Half Marathon, which took place on Sunday 24th March 2019.
The company-wide drive to generate awareness and sponsorship for the event, which included an office bake sale, resulted in an impressive £3,336 being raised through the company’s Just Giving page for the event. M2A Media matched all employee donations.
The total funds raised were 144% of M2A’s initial fundraising target, putting M2A Media in Just Giving’s top 1%, out of 40,266 fundraisers for March 2019.
M2A Media’s Financial Controller, Lynn Marcus, who manages the company’s charitable initiatives said: “We are so delighted with the results of our first fundraising initiative for The Brain Tumour Charity. The team worked extremely hard to prepare for the London Landmarks Half Marathon, taking time out of their already busy schedules.
“The work that The Brain Tumour Charity carries out to help save and improve the lives of those affected by brain tumours is invaluable. It was wonderful to see how the whole company came together to support the runners and this important cause. Thank you to all our friends and associates who donated so generously.”
M2A Media will be supporting The Brain Tumour Charity throughout 2019 with further fundraising initiatives to be announced shortly.
