M2A LIVE delivers Royal Wedding to the US
Britbox is an online digital subscription service operating in nine countries, founded by the BBC and ITV.

M2A Media worked with ITV and the BBC to live stream the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to the US on Britbox.
Challenge
Britbox required a cost-effective, broadcast-quality solution that would allow the Royal Wedding to be live streamed across the globe, as well as being available on-demand immediately after the live event had taken place.

M2A Media was able to provide a solution that resulted in a service that was entirely run on AWS Cloud, using technology already in use at ITV and the BBC, with a 24/7 Live encoding service and MCR that was available to fill in the rest of the end-to-end solution.
